Model description

An rice FSPM including major mophogenetic rules and physiological processes, and also including a genetic model with QTLs controlling the plant height. It considering vegetative and generative development based on sink (growth of organs) and source (photosynthesis according to Farquhar) activity. The photosynthesis model is invoked for each leaf blade and coupled with a radiation model, which provides an estimate of intercepted light per leaf blade, computed from the position and type of light sources and the canopy structure

Some case studies

Rice model integrating information from dynamic development of phenotype and structure.
